ASEC

[ Pricing ]

Pricing that adds up.

Every price below is the sum of the work inside it, and every line is listed so you can see what you are paying for. These are starting points. Scope and investment are confirmed in writing after a short fit conversation, so you only pay for what the business needs.

You built it. You should be the one holding the keys.

[ What you’ll own ]

Most website companies rent you a space in their building.

You pay every month, you can’t take the walls with you, and if you leave you start over. ASEC builds yours, in your name, and hands you the keys.

  1. 01Your domain is registered to you.
  2. 02Your hosting account is yours.
  3. 03Your email runs in an organization you own.
  4. 04Your site lives in an account you control.

If you stopped working with ASEC tomorrow, everything would keep working.

Business Email & Domain

Professional email on your own domain, and you own it outright.

Business Email & Domain: What goes into the price
What goes into the priceCost
Domain guidance, registrant and account setup in your name$65
Google Workspace setup: up to 3 named users and 5 aliases or groups$150
DNS verification, MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC monitoring, tested from outside$162

Written ownership and access guide, and a 60-minute owner handoff$110

Google's subscription and the domain registration are paid by you, directly, and stay in your name. ASEC never marks up third-party fees and is not a Google reseller, partner or affiliate. Migrations from an existing mail system are quoted separately, because the effort depends entirely on what you are moving from. Additional users beyond three are $35 each.

Websites

A website built to make a clear case for your business.

Launch Site

$1,975 · one page or up to three sections

A business that needs to be online properly, soon, and in its own name. One long page or up to three short sections, built on ASEC’s proven foundation with your brand applied, your inquiry path wired in, and nothing rented. It is a complete site, not a starter kit; many businesses never need more.

Launch Site: What goes into the price
What goes into the priceCost
Goal and content session, one primary action$225
ASEC foundation with your brand applied: colors, type, logo, photography placement$450
Responsive build of one page or up to three sections, inquiry path wired in and tested$825
Analytics and foundational search setup$175
Launch, access transfer, Ownership & Access Guide, 60-minute handoff$300
Total · one time$1,975

Custom Site

$3,750 · up to five pages

A business that has outgrown a template, is launching and wants to look established from day one, or whose current site does not make the case it should. A strategy session, a page plan, custom visual direction, and up to five pages.

Custom Site: What goes into the price
What goes into the priceCost
Strategy session and a page plan built around one primary action$500
Custom visual direction, not a template$750
Responsive build of up to five pages, inquiry path wired in and tested$1,725
Analytics and foundational search setup$275
Launch, access transfer, Ownership & Access Guide, 60-minute handoff$500
Total · one time$3,750

Launch Site is built on the same foundation as every ASEC site, which is why it can be done at this price. You own it exactly as you would own a Custom Site: same repository, same hosting account, same keys. Copy is yours to supply, with light editing included; writing from scratch is quoted separately. On either size, the repository, the hosting project and the domain are in your name at launch, and any developer can pick it up later.

Add-ons for either size

  • Guided website assistantA rules-based helper (no AI) that answers your most common questions and routes the visitor to a booking, a quote, or a call. Built once, tuned to your business.$350
  • Additional page (Custom Site)$325
  • Additional section (Launch Site)$175
  • Copywriting from scratch$250 per page

Add-ons are scoped and priced in writing before work begins. The guided assistant never invents an answer. It offers the choices you define and nothing else, which is why it fits a business that would rather be accurate than clever.

A site built on a website builder can never leave that builder, because there is no export.

Yours is a standard codebase in your own repository, so it can be hosted elsewhere or handed to another developer. Moving it is real work, not a button, but the option is genuinely yours and never depends on ASEC’s cooperation.

Rented on a website builder

  • You pay every month.
  • You can’t take the walls with you.
  • If you leave, you start over.

Built by ASEC, owned by you

  • One price for the work. What gets built is yours.
  • It can be hosted elsewhere or handed to another developer.
  • The option never depends on ASEC’s cooperation.

Ongoing Care

Keep the foundation working after launch.

Managed Hosting

$95/mo · ASEC runs it, you own it

A business that wants ASEC to keep the lights on and nothing more: the hosting account stays in your name and on your card, ASEC watches it, renews what needs renewing, and makes one small change a month.

Monthly site-health and uptime check$40
Domain, certificate and hosting renewals watched; you are told before anything is due$20

On Managed Hosting, the hosting account is in your name on your payment method; you pay the host directly and ASEC never marks it up. If you stop paying ASEC, the site stays up. That is the difference between managed and rented. All four sizes bill monthly in advance, month to month, with 30 days’ notice to end. Hours are capacity reserved for you each month, not a bank; unused hours do not roll over. Not included: new page design, custom development, copywriting, emergency response, and hosting or software fees. If your needs outgrow the plan, the next project is scoped and priced before it starts. Businesses that choose none of these own their site outright and manage it themselves, or bring in whoever they like.

[ How billing works ]

How billing works

  • Project work

Bills 50% at signing, 25% at design approval and 25% before launch.

  • Monthly engagements

Bill the first month in advance, month to month, with 30 days’ notice to end.

  • Not included unless scoped

Domain registration and renewal, hosting, and software subscriptions (you buy and own these). Photography and video, stock and music licensing, and ad spend. Copywriting beyond the allowance, moving an existing site or mailbox, and new design or custom development after launch. Real-time community management, and legal, privacy or accessibility certification.

  • A straight word on results

ASEC does not promise rankings, traffic, leads, revenue or follower growth. What is promised is work done well, on time, and handed over so that it is genuinely yours.

[ Questions ]

About the numbers.

Why isn’t this a monthly price like the website builders?

Because you are not renting anything. A builder charges you every month for the right to keep using a site that lives inside their system and can’t leave it. ASEC charges once for the work, and what gets built is yours. The only monthly costs afterwards are the services you buy directly, in your own name, and Ongoing Care if you choose it.

Do I actually own the website?

Yes, and the word is used precisely. Your domain is registered to you. Your hosting account is yours. The site lives in an account you control, and the handoff puts every key in your hand. There is nothing ASEC holds that you would need to ask for back.

What happens if I stop working with ASEC?

Nothing breaks. Everything is already in your name. ASEC removes its own access, sends you a summary of how things are set up, and you carry on with another developer, with someone in-house, or on your own. Moving a site is real work, not a button, but the choice is yours and never depends on anyone’s cooperation.

Why are the prices shown as a list of parts?

So you can see what the number is made of. Each line is a piece of work with a cost attached. If the business doesn’t need one of them, say so in the fit conversation and the scope reflects it.

Can’t an AI builder just make me a site for free?

It can make one, and some of them are good. But the site lives in the builder’s workspace, on the builder’s hosting, under the builder’s terms, and most of those terms are still marked beta. That is a rental with a very fast landlord. ASEC uses AI in the build and then puts the result in accounts registered to you, so the tool never becomes the landlord.
